The Dandy Thunderbang came free with The Dandy comic many times over it's 75 year run and it was a very popular gift. You need a quick flick of the wrist to make a very loud bang. Yes, they do break after you've used them many times but with one I had; I just put it inside a heavy book. Though, I would have liked some instructions with it as when I used one for the first time I had no idea what I was supposed to do.
